What would serve as your earliest inspiration as an artist?

Having been raised in Russia and exposed to the theater I developed a love of the arts at a young age.  I was surrounded by colors, costumes, makeup, dancers, music and all that would encompass performing arts.  

 

What is your favorite to paint?

I am influenced to paint figuratively as a result of my early childhood experiences. My expertise lies in painting people and animals, however, I also enjoy painting landscapes and seascapes.  For me, the painting process is almost meditative, so you could find me painting in my studio every day!
